(on her parents who adopted her at the age of three years old and who had been caring for her for a while after the birth of her daughter] Since there's so many years of differences between us, I began to be more intrigued by how their lives were during childhood. I fantasized about how it felt being young in the 1930s and 1950s more so than other kids that were my age. The personal side of my life. Olsen admitted to her sexual orientation on 16 April 2021. In 2022, Olsen revealed that her relationship with partner Adele Thibodeaux had ended and she was dating an old friend of many years and musician Meg Duffy for a few months during 2020. Olsen revealed on her social media accounts that she had come out as gay at the beginning of 2021. Olsen was born and lived in St. Louis Missouri. Her career began in coffee shops located in St. Louis during her teenage years. Later, she ventured into other businesses and created a group of musicians who had similar beliefs. When she moved to Chicago in 2006, she began her career as a musician. She became a member of Emmett's Cairo Gang, a collective led by California musician Emmett. Her previous album All Mirrors from 2019 featured dark almost gothic synth-rock and an affecting excursion into classical pop. Big Time is the first moment that Olsen sings explicitly about her queer desires. She turns to country and a more traditional-driven genre. This seems to make a lot of sense.
